Quick start

Start with a username. You do not need a long sign-up form, and you can return to the same work from another device with your sign-in details.

   Choose Image or Video

   Use the tabs at the top of the studio to choose a surface.

   Write a prompt

   Describe the subject, action, camera, lighting, and mood.

   Set the controls

   Pick a model, aspect ratio, duration, resolution, or references.

4. 04

   Generate and download

   Your result appears in the gallery. Download anything you want to keep permanently.

Generation

Choose an image or video model from the current list. Each model shows the controls it supports, so you only see settings that can be used for that creation.

Images

• Use a reference image when the composition or subject should stay consistent.
• Choose the aspect ratio, resolution, quality, and image count when available.
• Use a prompt template to start with a structured description.

Videos

• Set duration and resolution before generating.
• Add a start frame, end frame, audio, or an image reference when the model supports it.
• Extend a finished shot when the selected model provides an extend operation.

Credits

You will see the estimated credit cost before you create anything. Credits are reserved when a generation starts, and unused credits are returned automatically when a job fails.

The estimate changes with the model, duration, resolution, audio, quality, and any images or videos you attach.

Storage

Completed work appears in your gallery and stays connected to your Refract profile. Download important files when you want a copy on your device.
